Our client is recruiting for a Machine Operative to join their manufacturing team in Grantham.
This role would suit candidates with excellent attention to detail, good manual dexterity and experience in assembly, winding, production or manufacturing environments. Full training may be provided for candidates with the right attitude.
Working within a clean and organised production environment, you will be responsible for winding, assembling and testing electrical coils and components used within industrial equipment.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am- 4:15pm | Friday 7:30am-12:30pm
- Wind coils to specification using specialist winding machinery.

Install insulation materials and conductors within components.

Operate winding machines, assembly equipment and hand tools.

Read and follow engineering drawings and technical instructions.

Solder, connect and secure electrical leads and terminals.

Test completed windings for continuity and performance.

Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.

Complete production documentation accurately.
