The candidate must have experience of successfully tendering with local authorities for care provision and must have successful experience with the CQC, assessment and review processes.
The ideal candidate will be flexible with working hours and must have the legal right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
The Role:
The Registered Manager will register as the manager with CQC and comply with all relevant legislation and standards including the Health and Social Care Acts and carry out appropriate notifications as per organisational and legislative requirements.
The Registered Manager will carry out assessments and assist in safeguarding and enabling service users to live with dignity and purpose through the delivery and provision of person-centred care services; you will support service users and their families to meet their physical, domestic, mental health and social needs at home and in the community and will update care plans, carry out risk assessments, ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained and ensure all other compliance as required.
The Registered Manager will lead and manage care staff to ensure a high-quality service is maintained and that staff are qualified and updated with required care knowledge and training. The ideal candidate will:
- Carry out individual assessments for care service users, ensuring that support is provided in line with assessed individual needs
- Identify recruitment needs
- Implement and manage quality assurance
- Have full understanding of CQC assessment criteria and successfully registered a care company with the CQC
- Ensure that the organization consistently meets legislative requirements and remains fully compliant with CQC’s standards
- Ensure that Local Authority contracts are adhered to
- Have Diploma level 5 Health and Social Care - Leadership and Management (or equivalent Registered Manager's care qualification)
- Have key understanding of risk management and health and safety management
- Be people-orientated, self-motivated, organised and flexible
- Have excellent administration and IT skills; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, databases
- Have at least 3 years of care management experience
- Have a full clean UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
- Have excellent written and spoken English skills
The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Experience:
- Domiciliary Care Management: 3 years (Required)
- Successful Acquiring clients: 3 years (Required)
- successful CQC Registration: 2 years (Preferred)
