We are looking for a class leader for our lovely after-school club cookery classes (term time only).
The classes are held from 3.15pm - 4.30pm with the hours of work being approximately 2:30-5:00pm. You will initially lead 2-3 sessions a week and there is lots of opportunity to expand the role with leading further classes in the North Leeds area and/or supporting weekend birthday parties and school-holiday workshops.
Would suit someone reliable and confident who loves children and of course cooking! Excellent rate of pay. To start in September with some training throughout July or August
Responsibilities
- Deliver fun-filled cooking sessions with enthusiasm.
- Follow lesson plans and recipes which are provided.
- Practise recipes before each week's classes.
- Set up before, and clear down after each session.
- Shop for required ingredients (you will always be fully reimbursed for this)
- Ensure all safeguarding processes are followed.
Experience
- Experience of working with children and leading small groups is desirable.
- No professional cooking experience needed but confidence and competence in preparing and baking simple dishes required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Full UK driving licence and own car.
- Hold a DBS, First Aid and Food Hygiene level 2 qualification - we can support you in obtaining these.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour

We’re offering £50 per session. PLUS £15 per week for recipe ingredients shopping/testing/packing time
(Each session is based on pay for 3 hours in total to include prep, running session and clear up)
