Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
- Deliver an exceptional five-star customer experience to every guest and visitor.
- Welcome guests on arrival and assist with check-in and check-out.
- Respond professionally to guest enquiries both in person and over the telephone.
- Resolve guest queries efficiently and positively, escalating where necessary.
Holiday Bookings
- Handle holiday booking enquiries via telephone, email and online platforms.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Process bookings accurately using the park reservation system.
- Assist guests with amendments, cancellations and additional holiday services.
Holiday Homeowner Support
- Build strong relationships with our community of over 450 holiday homeowners.
- Provide day-to-day assistance with owner enquiries.
- Coordinate communication between homeowners and relevant park departments.
- Deliver a professional and personalised service that reflects our family values.
Telephone & Administration
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
- Direct calls to the appropriate departments when required.
- Respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records and booking information.
- Process payments and maintain confidential records in line with company procedures.
Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Reception, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Grounds teams.
- Support the wider business during busy periods.
- Help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues alike.
- Contribute ideas to continually improve the guest experience.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong telephone etiquette.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
- Previous reception or hospitality experience.
- Experience within the holiday park, leisure or tourism industry.
- Knowledge of reservation systems.
- Experience handling customer complaints positively and professionally.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
