Key Responsibilities
As a Plant Fitter within a fast-paced Stafford based construction environment, you will be responsible for:

Service, maintenance and repair of diesel, MHE and specialist plant equipment

Diagnosing faults and identifying root causes across mechanical systems

Liaising with controllers and customers to ensure clear communication on repairs and timescales
-
Carrying out inspections and ensuring all equipment is safe and fully operational

Identifying additional repair work and communicating requirements clearly to clients

Completing all job documentation accurately and professionally

Supporting revenue opportunities through effective identification of further works
What we're looking for
To be successful in this Plant Fitter role in Stafford, you will have:

HGV Category C licence (essential)

Level 3 qualification in engineering or equivalent apprenticeship

Strong background in mechanical engineering or construction plant maintenance

Experience as a Plant Fitter, HGV Technician or similar engineering role

Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment faults independently
