Leading bright bar manufacturer is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer.
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (FITTER):
Responsibilities include:
- Providing plant wide maintenance service, departmental support and mechanical repairs, to including overhead cranes.
- Daily liaison with the Engineering Manager/Technical & Production Manager to ensure that all production maintenance requirements are undertaken.
- Design, fabrication and machining of parts and structures to service the needs of the business.
- Occasional Shift work.
- Fork truck and MEWP experience
Qualifications & Experience:
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship and Qualification.
- Flexible and self-motivated working attitude.
- Numerate and literate.
- Pneumatics, hydraulics, bench fitting and welding skills.
- High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
- Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
- Ideally, we are looking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer to service and repair hydraulic and mechanical equipment
- Proven engineering background with relevant qualifications
- Light welding and fabrication
- Good verbal and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £37,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
