Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on cars
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform fabrication, welding, soldering, and assembly tasks as required for repairs or modifications
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate accurate repairs
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing operational concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical repair, equipment maintenance, or related field
- Strong electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical or electrical trades are advantageous
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude
