About the Role
We’re looking for engaging, professional freelance powerboat skippers to deliver high-quality speedboat and scenic tours on Loch Lomond. This role is about more than driving a boat – it’s about creating memorable experiences, telling the story of the loch, and making every guest feel safe, relaxed, and looked after.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Skippering commercial RIBs on scenic tours
- Delivering engaging, informative, and friendly commentary to guests
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer care
- Carrying out daily vessel checks and reporting any defects
- Working closely with shore-based teams to ensure smooth operations
- Acting as an ambassador for Loch Lomond Leisure on and off the water
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- RYA Powerboat Level 2 (Commercially Endorsed)
- Valid commercial endorsement & medical
- Strong boat-handling skills and confidence in varying conditions
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Availability to work weekends and peak season dates
Desirable
- Local knowledge of Loch Lomond or similar inland waters
- RYA Advanced Powerboat (Commercially Endorsed)
- Previous experience running tours, charters, or passenger vessels
