Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment and systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues efficiently.
- Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments to improve service processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
- Respond promptly to service requests and maintain a high level of customer communication.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge in engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer interaction.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools for reporting and diagnostics is advantageous.
