JOB TITLE: Production Manager
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTING TO: Managing Director
ROLE: This is a key leadership role within a growing team, responsible for ensuring production targets are consistently achieved while fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Planning, operations and delivery
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead a small team of technical operators
- ·Oversee planning, operation and delivery of all production, services and repairs through the business
- Health, Safety & Environment - lead by example in actively promoting and inspiring a culture of health and safety where every team member's contribution and safety is considered critical Drive operational improvements and maintain high service standards
- Maintain the ERP system and continually improve business processes
- Ensure effective and regular communication with staff, contractors, customers, and suppliers to facilitate the smooth operation of business activities.
- Represent the company with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers, and build constructive relationships to help further the work and reputation of the business
In addition, undertake any other duty or responsibility that may reasonably be allocated by the Technical Director or Managing Director.

EXPERIENCE
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Data processing skills, the ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team but with the confidence to generate solutions and processes when working alone
· IOSH Health and Safety knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
· Great communication skills, both written and verbal
· Confidence to work closely with external customers and suppliers
· Good understanding and use of Microsoft systems
WORKING HOURS
This position will be full time, 38 hours per week – Monday-Thursday 9 - 5pm, Friday 9 - 3pm.

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
