Duties:
· Supporting the classroom teacher deliver engaging lessons
· Support the teacher in preparing classroom materials
· Work one to one with small groups
· Supporting children with additional learning needs
· Follow school procedures and policies
· Create and maintain a positive learning environment
· Provide feedback on pupil progress
Requirements of a teaching assistant:
· Flexibility and adaptability
· Minimum 3 days a week
· Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
· A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) – desirable but not essential
· An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· The ability to manage behaviour effectively
