What You’ll Do:
- Create Balanced Meals: Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks that align with children’s dietary guidelines.
- Cater to Individual Needs: Adapt to various dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerances, and cultural preferences.
- Ensure Food Safety: Maintain the highest hygiene standards, keeping the kitchen compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee food stock levels, order supplies, and work within the nursery’s budget.
- Collaborate on Menus: Work with the nursery team to design seasonal menus that provide variety, balance, and excitement for children.
- Support Meal Times: Make meal times enjoyable, supporting children and staff where necessary.
- Maintain a Clean Kitchen: Keep the kitchen organised, safe, and compliant with food safety standards.
