Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. This role involves fabricating and assembling steel products to meet precise specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
Duties
- Operate MIG welding equipment to weld metal products according to engineering specifications.
- Assemble and fabricate steel products using various welding techniques.
- Interpret technical drawings to manufacture project requirements.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, and finishing metal parts.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to welding tasks.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly techniques.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
