We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work within a range of primary schools and/or private nurseries across Torbay, Newton Abbot and the surrounding areas. These rewarding roles involve helping children engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals. Many of our long-term opportunities also offer the potential to secure a permanent position, making them ideal for candidates looking to develop a long-term career in education.
What you’ll need to succeed:
If you’re motivated to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with SEND within primary schools and/or private nurseries in Torbay and/or Newton Abbot, we’d love to hear from you! No prior experience working with children? That’s not a problem, what matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment. We provide full training and a comprehensive induction, so you’ll feel fully supported and confident in your new Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role.
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate a calm, patient, and adaptable approach when supporting children with additional needs.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and teaching staff.
- Be open to full-time and/or part-time long-term work, or flexible ad-hoc supply work.
