We're looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join a growing, fast-paced manufacturing business at the forefront of its industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys working closely with customers, production teams and internal stakeholders to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
What you'll be doing
As a key member of the Customer Service team, you'll take ownership of the customer journey from order through to delivery, acting as a trusted point of contact for customers while coordinating with multiple departments across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer orders and amendments from start to finish
- Responding to customer enquiries and providing timely updates
- Liaising with production and purchasing teams to resolve shortages and delivery challenges
- Processing returns, repairs, reworks and order changes
- Creating quotations and maintaining accurate customer records
- Updating pricing, customer information and product databases
- Raising credit and debit notes
- Supporting forecasting, job costing and operational planning activities
- Attending production meetings and helping identify potential issues before they arise
What we're looking for
We're keen to speak with individuals who are:
- Experienced within customer service, customer support, account coordination or sales support, particularly in the B2B sector
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues at all levels
- Strong users of Microsoft Excel
- Proactive, solutions-focused and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Experience within manufacturing, SAP systems or working with technical drawings would be advantageous, but is not essential.
