Mix & Blend Catering has been established since 2014, creating flavoured olive oils and quickly moving into food catering for corporate companies, events and private parties. Based in central London, Mix & Blend specialise in quality fresh ingredients to create our delicious menus.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct B2B sales presentations and negotiations to secure new contracts
- Develop customised solutions tailored to client needs, demonstrating strong negotiation skills
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using IT systems
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company’s offerings
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify new opportunities
Essential qualities, skills & knowledge:
· Strong grammatical skills
Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales or similar roles, preferably within a competitive market environment
- Knowledge of the food industry – Desired, but not essential.
- Prior UK experience in property industry is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in IT tools such as CRM software, MS Office 365 Suite, and other relevant applications
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and events (London based would be preferred)
- Demonstrated organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- A- Level English and Math (or equivalent)
- Fluent in English language
- Own laptop and internet access. Plus Telephone Landline access.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:

· Mon - Thur, 10am – 2pm
· Telephone with answering machine provided.
