Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled FLT Driver to join our clients production team, prodimently working outside in the yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks to handle materials efficiently and safely within a busy yard.
This role is on average - 90% FLT. 10% on the production line
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials in the yard.
- Load and unload the wagons
- Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organisation within designated areas.
- Support on the packing line if necessary
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklift trucks (certification essential).
- Ability to load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Previous yard experience is advantageous but not essential; a proactive attitude towards learning is essential.
Working hours 3 week rota
Week 1: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
Week 2: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm
Week 3: Monday - Thursday 8pm - 6am
Pay - £15.50 p/h
