Restaurant Assistant Manager
Join the team at The Winking Prawn, one of Salcombe’s best-loved, popular and busy beachside cafés and restaurants. We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Assistant Manager to help lead our team and deliver a fantastic experience for every customer.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the business.
- Leading and motivating the team during busy service periods.
- Providing excellent customer service and handling customer queries.
- Helping with staff training, rota management, and team organisation.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and opening/closing procedures.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is positive, reliable and enjoys working with people.
Experience in hospitality or management is useful but not essential — full training will be provided for the right person. If you have a great attitude and are keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
