Are you an ambitious sales professional looking for the opportunity to make a territory your own?
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to develop and grow our business across the North of England. This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established and respected supplier of industrial tooling, abrasives, and surface finishing solutions, working with manufacturers and engineering businesses throughout the UK.
You'll have the autonomy to manage your own region, identify new opportunities, and build lasting customer relationships, while being supported by an experienced and knowledgeable team.
What you'll be doing:
- Prospecting and generating new business opportunities within your territory
- Making outbound calls to prospective customers and following up on leads
- Managing and developing your own sales pipeline and customer base
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identifying opportunities to introduce additional products and services
- Maintaining accurate customer records and activity updates
- Working closely with the internal team to deliver excellent customer service
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a B2B sales environment
- Confidence in generating new business and engaging with decision-makers
- A self-motivated and organised approach to managing your workload
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently whilst remaining a valued part of the wider team
- Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical sales would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Full UK driving licence
