Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced traditional barber to join our currently female team. The ideal candidate is required, for classic barbering techniques and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves providing traditional haircuts, skin fades, beard trim etc to a relaxed clientele, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality traditional barbering services, including some skin fades & beard trims
- Consult with clients to understand their styling preferences and provide excellent customer relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the barbering station in accordance with health and safety standards
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
- Keep up-to-date with the latest grooming trends and techniques in barbering
- Time efficiency essential for walk-in client trade
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sterilised and maintained
Requirements
- Proven experience as a traditional barber
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in hair styling, grooming techniques, and use of barbering tools
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism
- Valid barbering qualification recognised within the UK is preferred.
