Veterinary Receptionist

Thompson's Pet Care is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly, fast-paced team from July/August 2026.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring pets and their owners receive a welcoming, professional service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key responsibilities:
- Welcoming clients and their pets
- Managing appointments and the veterinary diary
- Answering telephone and email enquiries
- Processing payments and handling client accounts
- Dispensing food and non-prescription products
- Liaising with vets and nurses to ensure appointments run smoothly
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records
Essential requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident using computer systems and handling multiple tasks
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively
- Friendly, reliable and professional
Please note: Applicants without at least one year's veterinary receptionist experience will not be considered.
Start Date: July/August 2026
