Now Education is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in the Woodlands area of Milton Keynes on a full-time, term-time-only basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and has a proven track record of working with behaviour that challenges. The successful candidate will be confident in creating a positive, structured learning environment and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
The school caters for pupils with a range of special educational needs and provides a nurturing, supportive setting where personalised learning and positive relationships are at the heart of everything they do. Staff work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within SEND settings
- Strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting pupils with behaviour that challenges
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
