On behalf of my client, an established and well-respected mortgage and protection brokerage in Norfolk, I am recruiting for a qualified Mortgage and Protection Advisor to join their supportive, office-based team in Wymondham.
This opportunity has arisen due to retirement and offers the chance to take over a warm, established client base within a stable and professional environment.
The successful Advisor will guide clients from initial consultation through to completion, assessing affordability, recommending suitable mortgage solutions, and delivering clear, compliant advice. You will also identify protection needs to ensure clients and their families are fully protected.
A strong focus on customer service, compliance, and positive client outcomes is essential.
Earnings: £27,000 basic salary + generous commission as you'll be inheriting a solid desk of clients with repeated revenue

Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their financial circumstances, goals, and mortgage needs
- Provide clear, tailored advice on mortgage products, interest rates, and repayment options
- Conduct affordability assessments in line with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to progress applications
- Keep up to date with mortgage market trends, products, and compliance regulations
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all advice meets FCA guidelines
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative, office-based environment
Requirements
- CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
- Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and mortgage industry best practice
- A proactive, self-driven approach
- Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships
