Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our award winning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our restaurant. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals looking to contribute to a professional environment while balancing other commitments. Prior experience in the cleaning industry is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Duties
- Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Experience
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
