Job Title: Night Senior Healthcare Assistant - Preston Private Care Home

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HCA on nights but must be flexible.
Job Purpose: To take overall responsibility for the Unit whilst on shift. To share our commitment to excellent personal and social care. To ensure care delivered is person centered and in line with individual care plans and risk assessments. To lead and support SCA team.Salary: £14.07per hour.
Qualifications:
Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work toward Level 3.
Medication Qualification.
Minimum of 18 months Senior Care Assistant experience including Administrating Medication and Care Planning
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:
The Senior will supervise and lead team on the unit this includes:
Demonstrating a passion for Person Centered Care.
Medication administration and Management.
Care planning, risk assessment and documentation skills
Good overall understanding of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry
Able to demonstrate knowledge in MCA and DOLs
Ability to inspire Staff team
Open communication with Unit Leads, Deputy and Home Manager.
Highly Motivated Individual.
To act as a positive role model and provide effective supervision and guidance to staff team.
Compassionate and caring nature.
Reliable, trustworthy with a good sense of humor.
