At UCL, we are committed to delivering an outstanding student experience across every aspect of university life. UCL Student Accommodation provides a home to thousands of students across a diverse residential portfolio in London, helping to create safe, supportive and inclusive communities where students can thrive.
As one of the world's leading universities, UCL is investing significantly in its campus experience and infrastructure, with an ambitious programme of development and improvement. Within Student Accommodation, we are continually enhancing our services, systems and standards to ensure we meet the highest levels of compliance, safety and operational excellence.
We are now seeking a Business Standards Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in strengthening governance, assurance and continuous improvement across our accommodation services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to help shape and maintain business standards across a large and complex accommodation portfolio.
Working closely with the Business Standards Manager, Accommodation Managers and operational teams, you will coordinate compliance activities, support audit programmes and contribute to the development of robust processes, policies and procedures. You will play a central role in monitoring business standards, maintaining compliance records, analysing performance data and supporting both internal and external assurance activities.
The role offers significant variety, combining operational compliance, governance, risk management, process improvement and stakeholder engagement. You will work across a broad network of colleagues, including Estates, Safety Services, Legal Services and central university teams, helping to ensure our services remain aligned with legislative requirements, sector standards and UCL policies.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, identifying opportunities for greater consistency and supporting teams to embed best practice in their day-to-day operations.
Please note, this is a 9-month fixed-term contract/ secondment offered on an onsite basis full-time (5-days per week). This is an internal recruitment advert, available to eligible UCL workers only.
