The Trainee Train & Resource Planner at GBRf plays a key role in strengthening our busy Planning team. This team is responsible for producing the weekly traincrew diagrams and rosters that enable us to deliver goods efficiently across the country for our customers. This role offers a clear pathway to develop into a Planner once fully trained.
You will support the planning team with administrative tasks whilst developing your own Railway understanding and knowledge of the rostering and diagramming tools and how we use these to create effective diagrams and rosters using the most cost-effective methods.
This role will be based in our Doncaster office, the role of Trainee Train Planner pays up to £25,000 per annum + benefits
You will need to be able to commit to the following hours; Monday & Tuesday 9am to 3pm Wednesday 9am to 5pm Thursday 9am to 7pm Friday 9am to 4pm

Assisting with the traincrew’s hotel booking requirements and any alterations and cancelations that may be affected by changing customer orders
Producing cost effective traincrew diagrams
