About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in helping pupils with MLD and SLD thrive in a structured, supportive and inclusive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs
- Assisting pupils with daily living skills, communication and social interaction
- Adapting activities to suit different abilities and learning styles
- Supporting pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation and sensory needs
- Building positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence and independence
Your experience in care or early years will translate directly into impact from day one.

You should be:
- Confident or motivated to work with pupils with MLD and SLD
- Patient, adaptable and calm under pressure

- Available full-time, 8:00am–4:00pm
No formal SEN experience is required — your transferable care or early years experience is highly valued.
