Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader to oversee and support the delivery of high-quality care to the customers that need help in their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supervising staff, ensuring care plans are effectively implemented, and maintaining excellent communication with customers, the office and the wider team. This role offers an opportunity to lead by example, promote best practices in senior care, and contribute positively to the community care we provide.
Duties
- Lead the Care Team in the community and provide the link between management and staff in the field that is required with the ever growing business.
- Support customers on care as and when required. (Weekend on weekend off work required)
- Support management with customer assessments.
- Support new staff when staring and help with continued professional development of the time as required.
- Be part of the on call rota for weekends
- Maintain effective communication with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in senior care/team leader role (minimum 1 years)
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with all required. (eg; staff, customers, management)
- Competent in using IT systems for documentation, care planning, and reporting purposes.
- Valid driving licence is required and access to own vehicle with business insurance on.
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay: £14.25 per hour
