The British Aesthetic Academy is a leading doctor-led training academy providing aesthetic medicine education to healthcare professionals across the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Videographer & Video Production Specialist to deliver the complete production of our flagship online aesthetics training course.
This is a fixed-fee contract to deliver the entire project from planning and filming through to editing and final delivery. The successful applicant will be responsible for producing high-quality educational content for our online learning platform, alongside promotional and social media content captured throughout production.
We’re looking to create a premium online learning experience with engaging multi-camera production, professional editing, educational motion graphics and anatomy overlays that enhance the learning experience.
About the Project
The project will involve producing a comprehensive online training course consisting of:
- 10 core educational lecture modules
- 28 procedure-specific theory lectures
- 30+ clinical procedure demonstration videos
- Introductory and promotional videos
- A package of social media content captured throughout filming
The course covers facial anatomy, consultation, botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, patient safety, complications, business and marketing, alongside detailed treatment demonstrations. Lecture content will be delivered using a professional studio or green screen setup, with live clinical procedures filmed in our academy training environment.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for planning, filming, editing and delivering the complete production of the course from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordinating all filming throughout the project
- Filming lecture presentations using a professional studio or green screen setup
- Multi-camera filming to create engaging, high-quality educational content (applicants are welcome to work with their own production team where required)
- Professional lighting and broadcast-quality audio recording
- Filming live aesthetic treatment demonstrations with multiple camera angles, including close-up procedural footage
- Creating professional motion graphics, branded titles, lower thirds and educational overlays
- Producing anatomy animations and visual overlays to enhance the teaching of facial anatomy and treatment techniques
- Editing all videos into polished, chapter-ready online learning content
- Colour grading, audio enhancement and ensuring a consistent visual style throughout the course
- Capturing additional promotional footage, behind-the-scenes content and short-form social media videos during filming days
- Delivering all final edited videos, raw footage and associated project files upon completion
Filming Requirements
- Filming will take place in London, either at our Academy training venue or in a professional studio.
- Recording sessions will generally take place at weekends.
- The British Aesthetic Academy will provide all lecture presentations, treatment models and access to our training facilities.
- Applicants should provide all filming, lighting, audio and production equipment required to deliver a professional multi-camera production.
- Applicants may work independently or as part of a small production team where required.
We’re Looking For Someone With
- Proven experience producing high-quality educational, healthcare or corporate training videos
- Excellent videography, lighting and audio production skills
- Professional editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent software
- Experience creating motion graphics, animations and educational visual content
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for producing clean, engaging online learning content
- The ability to independently manage a project from planning through to final delivery
Experience within medical education, healthcare or aesthetics would be advantageous.
Intellectual Property
As this content will form part of our online education platform, the successful applicant must agree that all content created as part of this project - including raw footage, edited videos, graphics, animations, audio, project files and all associated assets - will become the exclusive property of the British Aesthetic Academy upon final payment.
Applicants must be willing to assign full intellectual property rights, granting the Academy unrestricted worldwide commercial ownership and usage of all content created for this project.
