We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have previous janitorial experience and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, including early mornings or evenings if required
This position is suitable for individuals who take pride in creating clean and hygienic environments. Prior experience in janitorial services is advantageous but not essential for highly motivated candidates eager to learn.
