Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and replacements
- Identify faults accurately and suggest appropriate solutions to customers or management
- Carry out routine inspections and safety checks on vehicles before returning them to customers
- Maintain detailed records of all work carried out in accordance with company standards
- Assist with vehicle servicing, tyre fitting, oil changes, and other routine maintenance tasks
Experience
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
