Financial Controller

Thesleff Group is one of London's leading hospitality businesses,operating a portfolio of award-winning restaurants and luxury dining concepts including Los Mochis,Sale e Pepe Mare,Juno Omakase,Viajante87,Luna Omakase and MA/NA.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function for two restaurants within the group.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller,this is a hands-on role responsible for financial reporting,controls,reconciliations and business partnering within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities

Produce monthly management accounts and reporting packs

Complete balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Reconcile payroll,revenue,settlements and key control accounts

Review financial performance and investigate variances

Support audits,budgeting and forecasting activities

Drive process improvements and support finance automation projects

Build strong relationships with operational and senior management teams
About You
-
Previous experience as a Financial Controller,Finance Manager,Management Accountant or similar
-
Hospitality,restaurant,hotel or leisure sector experience preferred
-
Strong month-end reporting and reconciliation experience

Excellent understanding of AP,AR and payroll accounting

Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail

Organised,commercially aware and able to meet tight deadlines
-
Experience with Power BI,Simphony,Fourth or Infor SUN would be advantageous
