An established and growing wealth management firm is seeking a Client Support Team Leader to manage their administration and PA support function, ensuring Wealth Consultants are fully supported and clients receive a high-quality, efficient service.
This is a key leadership role combining operational oversight with people management, where you will ensure administrative processes run smoothly, remain compliant, and are consistently client-focused. You will work closely with advisers, paraplanners, and compliance teams to deliver a seamless client experience and enable consultants to focus on building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop the financial planning administration and PA support team
- Allocate workloads, set priorities, and monitor team performance against agreed standards
- Conduct regular one-to-ones and performance reviews
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning administration including new business, transfers, withdrawals, valuations, and policy servicing
- Ensure advisers are fully supported with diary management, meeting preparation, and follow-up actions
- Act as an escalation point for complex or urgent administrative queries
- Maintain high-quality file management and record-keeping practices
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Support system enhancements and business change initiatives
- Provide MI and performance reporting to senior management
- Monitor KPIs including service levels, accuracy, and team capacity
- Ensure appropriate resourcing and coverage across the team

- Strong understanding of FCA regulatory requirements
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
Desirable:
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience
- Experience with financial planning CRM/back-office systems
- Exposure to process improvement or project work
- Advanced IT skills including Excel and financial planning tools
A full UK driving license is required due to travel between office locations across Wiltshire, with mileage paid.
