Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and janitorial services, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-presented.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and checklists to maintain consistency and quality in service.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Manage cleaning supplies effectively, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and requesting replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Proven janitorial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
