Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols
- Support individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments through behaviour management techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
- Monitor health conditions and report any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
- Support clients with activities of daily living in both residential and community settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in compliance with organisational policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care practices including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care
- Certification or training in first aid and medication administration is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support
- Valid driving licence for transportation duties is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients of all ages
- Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including days and evenings if necessary

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,070.85 per year
