About Us:
At German Kraft Brewing, we’re more than just a place to grab a schooner. We’re a community hub for craft beer lovers, a home for small-batch brews, and a space where education and appreciation for the art of brewing come first. Our rotating taps feature house brews, local favorites, and experimental releases—and our bartenders are the key to bringing them to life for our guests.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve and educate guests on our tap list, including beer styles, tasting notes, and brewing processes
- Create a welcoming and energetic environment for both regulars and first-timers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Operate POS systems, handle payments, and follow opening/closing procedures
- Assist in beer events, tap takeovers, and special tastings
- Stay up-to-date on new releases, brewing trends, and beer culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a craft beer-focused setting
- Solid knowledge of beer styles, brewing techniques, and proper serving etiquette
- Enthusiastic, personable, and able to engage with guests about beer (and make it fun!)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18+ and able to work evenings and weekends
