Looking for a role where you feel valued, supported, and excited to come to work each day? The Old Vicarage Day Nursery is looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and confident Room Leader to lead our baby room and help our youngest children feel safe, loved, and ready to explore.
We’re proud to be part of the DEN Nursery Group and to work with our own bespoke curriculum, giving you the freedom to be creative, child-led, and make a real difference. We also embrace our forest school, with plenty of outdoor learning and regular trips out into the local community to explore nature.

- Take part in local outings and trips
- Observe, support, and celebrate each child’s individual development
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, health, and hygiene
- Work closely with the management team, sharing ideas and supporting best practice
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
- Experience working with children under 2, ideally in a room leader or senior role
- A positive, supportive leader who enjoys developing others
- A warm, professional approach with lots of enthusiasm
- Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding
