Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across various departments, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong office experience and proficient computer skills to contribute to organisational efficiency and effectiveness. The Administrator will play a vital part in maintaining accurate records, managing correspondence, and supporting team members with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
- Organising and maintaining digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of information
- Data entry and updating records using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks where applicable
- Preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating calendars for team members
- Assisting with invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised to promote productivity
Experience
- Previous office or administrative experience is essential, demonstrating familiarity with clerical tasks and organisational procedures. Preferably in the electrical sector.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and data entry systems including CRM's and QMS
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong typing skills to facilitate efficient document preparation and data entry
- Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently whilst supporting team objectives effectively

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
