Healthcare Assistant / Domiciliary Care Worker

About the Role
We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our growing care team supporting clients across Chatham Kent.
This is a rewarding role providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training and support can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and passion for care.
Drivers with their own vehicle are highly encouraged to apply. Mileage/travel compensation is provided.
Important Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting clients with daily living activities and promoting independence
- Assisting with mobility and physical support where required
- Following individual care plans and reporting any concerns or changes
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Ensuring clients are cared for in a safe, clean, and respectful environment
- Travelling between client homes within Waltham Forest and Newham
Skills & Requirements
- Caring, compassionate, and professional attitude
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
- Basic IT skills for record keeping are advantageous
- Experience in domiciliary care or care homes is beneficial but not compulsory
