Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen operations
- Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their culinary skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with management on menu development, special events, and customer feedback
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment throughout shifts
- Ensure all food served meets presentation standards and customer expectations
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting
- Extensive food production knowledge across various cuisines
- Strong team management abilities with excellent leadership qualities
- Proficient in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
