About Us
Adams Gas is a growing bottled gas supplier supplying industrial, welding, beverage, balloon gas, hydroponic and LPG products across the UK.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our operations team in a varied hands-on role covering yard duties, cylinder handling, forklift operation, production work and local deliveries.
This is a practical role suited to somebody who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team, and being involved in different aspects of the business.
Main Duties
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Safe movement and storage of gas cylinders
- Forklift truck operation
- Filling gas cylinders under company procedures and training
- Preparing customer orders
- General yard and warehouse duties
- Assisting with stock control
- Carrying out local deliveries when required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assisting with machine and filling operations
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Good practical and hands-on skills
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred (but not essential)
- Forklift licence
- ADR licence
- Experience in warehouse, engineering, gas, production or delivery work
- Van driving experience
Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm
Additional overtime may occasionally be available.
