Cleaning Operative (Part-Time)
Location: Quayside Media City, Salford, M50 3AG
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am – 9:30am
- Wednesday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
- Thursday: Day off
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and detail-focused Cleaning Operative to join our team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our food hall remains clean, safe, and welcoming for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean floors, walkways, and seating areas using sweeping, mopping, and scrubber machines.
- Maintain toilets and washrooms, including sanitising surfaces, replenishing consumables, and emptying bins.
- Spot clean spills, stains, and chewing gum.
- Keep waste disposal and tray return areas clean and hygienic.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including colour-coded cleaning systems.
- Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
What We're Looking For
- Previous commercial cleaning experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
