THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Operational Excellence Practitioner to join our New Look DC team.
You’ll receive hands-on Industrial Engineering training from day one, giving you the tools to support GoalPost, identify improvements and help drive real benefits across Lymedale Operations.
Working alongside our Operational Excellence team, you’ll be mentored to support a culture of continuous improvement — from 5S, visual management and standardisation, through to problem solving and process improvement.
This role will help maintain our Work Performance System, support project benefit cases and review SMVs and SOPs to spot opportunities that improve quality, reduce cost and make our processes even better.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Leading the Work Performance Measurement Programme
- To ensure that SMV standards are accurately maintained.
- To make seasonal changes to SMV’s and maintain a historical SMV library.
- To assist the pursuit of financial opportunities (in collaboration with key stakeholders) identified from driving Work Performance/Hours Reduction within; measured, direct & indirect areas
- Supporting various ad hoc Requests (either as lead or collaborator)
- Analysis using Work Performance Techniques
- Supporting LEAN / Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Supporting Project Requests
- Utilising Industrial Engineering toolkit to assist and advise business for Project needs.
- Supporting Production/Collaboration around Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide and support training requirements for Operations in relation to GoalPost and Work Performance related issues.
- Produce ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ E2E Process Mapping for business initiatives.
