Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Team of 9 chefs
- Oversee kitchen operations: Manage food preparation, presentation, and production while ensuring quality, safety, sanitation, and cost control to maximize efficiency and profitability
- Manage administrative functions: Oversee kitchen systems, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and team member operations
- Ensure ingredient quality: Select, inspect, and utilize high-quality food and beverage products, including meats, seafood, produce, and seasonings
- Enhance menu offerings: Create and implement new dishes and seasonal menus to elevate the dining experience
- Lead a high-performing team: Supervise and support team members, recruit new talent, monitor development and performance, provide coaching and foster a positive and productive work environment
- Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
What are we looking for?
- Strong Sous Chef/ Assistant Kitchen Manager or previous Head Chef/ Kitchen Manager experience
- Approaches food in a creative way
- Strong supervisory skills
- Positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings
