We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our busy team at Manchetts.
This is a key position within our organisation and one which requires the right level of skill and commitment to getting the job done right every time at this crucial first point of customer contact.
Key Aspects of the Role
Provide first class customer service levels through clear and effective communication, right first time, on time.
Help organise, plan and control all front-of-house activities including personnel.
Load workshop to planned levels achieving the required utilisation measure.
Raise job cards correctly with all necessary information.
Liaise with customers keeping them informed of job progress and completion, also gaining authorisation and final order numbers where necessary through to invoice retail orders.
In conjunction with the whole team help achieve customer satisfaction goals, workshop sales and gross profit margins and performance standards and KPI’s in Service.
Understand and help develop best practice in all service operations and deliver consistently.
Create and deliver a customer led culture in the service department.
Outbound calls to customers reminding them of scheduled maintenance but also promoting new products and service.
Ensure all Company, Franchise, Health & Safety and Environmental policies and standards are adhered to within the service department, and depot as a whole.

Competencies
- Previous experience within a Service Advisory role would be highly advantegous.
- Exceptional telephone skills.
- Good and effective communicator at all levels.
- Computer literate.
- Xpower knowledge will be an advantage.
- Smart personal presentation.
- A “Can do”, helpful approach.
- Calm and methodical under pressure.
40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 08:30-17:30 ( 30 mins unpaid lunch) along with alternate Saturdays 08.00-12.00. (paid at overtime)
Salary will be negotiable depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
31 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)
