Job Description: Night Team Leader - Healthcare Assistant
Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Surrey Hills, The Huntington & Langham Estate have exciting opportunities available Night Team Leaders of our care teams. We are looking for naturally friendly, caring people with a genuine interest in supporting/assisting our residents in all aspects of care and daily life. Must be able to support the Night RGN in administration of medication.
You will be confident to lead a team of night healthcare assistants and develop your team, including conducting supervisions. You will require good communication skills at all levels and be able to liaise effectively with the nurse on duty, and other care teams on duty, to ensure the needs of our residents are maintained.
You must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure all relevant information regarding the changing needs of our residents are passed over effectively at handovers.
We work to small ratio's of staff to residents (1:3), enabling high standards of care and time to spend with our residents, developing 'family' relationships.
Pay: £15 ph weekdays, £16.50 ph weekends, £18 ph overtime
Shifts: 8pm to 8am - Waking Nights
Personal transport essential as public transport is not effective in Hindhead
Requirements:
- minimum of 1 years experience
- Level 3 or higher NVQ in Health & Social Care
- supervision experience
- Genuine interest in working within the dementia care environment
- Satisfactory DBS and police check
- Team Player
- Ability to communicate at all levels
