Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble pizza toppings according to recipes and customer specifications
- Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and cleaning surfaces
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as required
- Serve customers efficiently, providing excellent customer service and handling any special requests or dietary requirements
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols
- Previous experience in meal preparation and food safety standards is essential
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving customers and managing kitchen workflows
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
