Long-Term In-Home English Tutor Needed for Year 10 Student (Morley, LS17)
The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced English tutor to support a wonderful young man (entering Year 10) who is currently unable to access learning in a mainstream school setting due to additional learning needs including autism with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile. This is a long-term position (Year 10 & 11) with the likely potential to continue through the summer holidays to ensure consistency.
Location:
In-home tutoring in Morley, LS17. Schedule: Every Friday, mid-morning (flexible start time to suit). Commitment: Long-term (2+ years), 1 hour per week.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience: You must have experience with SEN, specifically PDA, or be willing to undergo specialised training.
- Qualifications: Strong background in English tutoring.
- Approach: Patient, flexible, and relationship-focused. You understand that re-engaging with learning takes time.
