We are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join our niche Family Law Firm.
Venters Solicitors is a well-respected, award winning and high-quality law firm with offices in Camberwell (London), Farnham and Reigate (Surrey) and Fleet (Hampshire).
Established by our Managing Partner June Venters KC in 1991, Venters Solicitors has an established reputation for its expertise in family law (children and divorce) and criminal cases that involve family or children issues.
Preferably, you will be an accredited Resolution Specialist or family Law panel solicitor, bringing with you a network of professional contacts. Court advocacy skills and panel qualifications would be beneficial, but they are not essential.
Advocacy in family law can be very rewarding and anyone wishing to progress into advocacy will be mentored by June Venters KC as part of their development.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate your commitment to providing legal advice in an empathetic, practical manner and you will be confident and enthusiastic with the ability to prioritise your workload. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision is key.
